2010

An Essex event to help local community groups and charities find funding

Community Money Marketplace 2010 - October 2010

is the only event of its kind in Essex offering local community groups and charities access to a wide range of seminars, advice and information to help maximise their funding potential for their various projects.

Attendees can join up to four one hour seminars* each one has been specially designed for the event to equip group members with the skills and information they need to make effective funding bids, promote their organisation, plan an event and much more. A number of the seminars will be held by some of the leading funders to charities in Essex with updates on their funding priorities and application processes.

To further enhance the day all attendees will be able to browse through the exhibitor’s hall with displays from various charitable trusts, grant making organisations, support agencies and speak directly to funding advisors about their charities’ needs.

Admission is just £10 per person and includes access to up to four seminars*, entry to the exhibitors hall, light lunch and refreshments.

As seminar places are limited, attendees are strongly advised to pre- book to avoid disappointment on the day.

The event will be held at Pontlands Park Hotel, Great Baddow, Chelmsford on Wednesday 6th October from 10:30am.

For full details and to book your place at the Community Money Marketplace 2010 event please visit www.cmm.btck.co.uk.

*Seminars must be pre-booked (up to a maximum of four per person depending upon availability at the time of booking.)

This event is being organised by the Essex Funding Forum, a network of local authority community development teams and CVS funding advisors that provide vital support to voluntary groups and charities to increase better quality funding applications and maximise the levels of funding coming into their Local Districts.

This is the third event of its kind organised by the Essex Funding Forum with previous successful events in 2006 and 2008. Over 350 people attended the event in 2008 with 97% or place on seminars pre-booked.

For more details regarding the event contact Richard Crone, Vice Chair of the Essex Funding Forum on: T: 01992 564515 E: rcrone@vaef.org.uk

Training at the event is being organised by Voluntary Sector Training for more information visit www.voluntarysectortraining.org.uk
